Is the free plan really free? Forever?+
Yes. One child, three documents, one letter a month, and the first three book chapters — at $0, with no expiration. Free is the entry point we want every parent to be able to walk through, not a 30-day teaser.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
Your data stays yours. Export everything as a ZIP from Settings → Data Export, any time, on any plan. After cancellation we keep the workspace in soft-delete for 30 days so you can re-activate; after that it's hard-deleted.
Why is AI listed as 'when re-enabled'?+
We're running the public beta with AI summaries paused so we can validate the manual flow first. The same JSON shape is used for both — so when AI flips back on, your existing summaries upgrade automatically.
Do you offer school-district or organization plans?+
Not yet. Gardenia is parent-owned by design — districts join one family at a time via parent invitation. If you're a school or non-profit looking to bulk-fund family memberships, reach out via /contact.
What's the bundle versus the monthly subscription?+
The $99 bundle is a one-time purchase that ships you the physical paperback and gives you 12 months of Parent Pro. After 12 months you can choose to renew at $190/year or drop to free. The book is yours either way.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No. Stripe processing is paid by us, not you. Letters generate as PDFs at no extra cost. Storage is included up to 50 MB per file, 5 GB per workspace. If you ever come close to a limit, we tell you in plain English before charging.
